Aliya is wonderful! some of the bits are a bit long winded to get to the punch line but even she calls them out. very real. self enlightenment 101.

[A wee cheat, as I saw this show a week before #FringeTO started, at Ottawa Fringe on June 23rd.] Since #FringeTO 2022, Kanani toured her previous show hard, then dealt with burnout by spending a month in an ashram. Her new show starts well with that story; sags a bit, midway; but finishes strong, using a flip chart and audience engagement to wrap up.
