The Lucky Life of a Black Cat is the kind of play that takes you by surprise. And that’s the magic of it all, the pain feels real because it is real. You can feel the love and loss intertwined into every scene. The performances are committed and charming, the staging is clever, and the costumes strike the perfect note, just enough to transform the actors into cats without feeling over-the-top. It’s theatrical, yet intimate. Playful, yet profound. Fawn has a very unique way of presenting her artistic ability. So much talent! Fresh, clean, crisp and very enchanting. I think she opened our minds and hearts to this subject, that affects ALL of us! Her delivery, the puppets and her energy were very engaging. Congratulations Fawn! 💕

I absolutely loved this show. It was engaging, hilarious, and educational, and I connected with so much of what it had to say. Fawn is incredibly talented—her storytelling, humour, and warmth make the whole experience feel honest and welcoming.

I left laughing, thinking, and feeling a little less alone. A wonderful show that deserves a big audience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Edutaining in the best possible way

I walked into this show expecting to learn a few things about menopause. I walked out feeling like I belonged.

This was educational, funny, and deeply vulnerable ... all at once. The clever use of puppetry, poetry, and storytelling had me laughing one minute and nodding through a lump in my throat the next. It said out loud the things so many of us have been carrying quietly for years.

Honestly? I didn't want the conversation to end. I would have happily stayed for a post-show workshop to keep it going.

This show deserves a much bigger stage. It belongs in schools, men's groups, women's groups, and on the road. Imagine if our daughters, partners, and sons understood this stage of life before we're in the thick of it.

Entertaining. Educational. Edutaining! Go see it ... and bring someone who needs to hear it.

Fawn was fabulous she made a topic that isn’t talked about relatable funny and very informative. The set was great and the use of puppets and audio elevated the performance. Really enjoyed the show well done!

This beautiful show is worth seeing for the regalia alone, but delivers so much more than that. The history of powwow, the culture and etiquette of powwow, Nyla's complex personal connection to the traditions through geography and family ties, all layer together to create a rich tapestry of story and craft. Told with humour and love with a dash of grief, this show holds the fullness of life within its compact 45-minute runtime.

Mauretia's delivery as narrator is so precise and riveting, every phrase carries such meaning and imagery, with every carefully weighted and deliciously ennunciated word for the full 50 minutes of the performance. And what a compelling script, mythological in symbolism and scope, speaking to tensions realities, relationships past present and future. And the performances and production work enveloped me as the story unfolded, simple, subtle and strong, bringing me into the mythological realm. Bravo

Co-create across cultures... Medicine the world needs. I love how this taps in to and introduces/references Persian poetry performance... Ancient tradition to tell a very necessary contemporary story.

A fun filled journey through Justin's journey from his origins in PEI to how he arrived at our stage today. It was full of fun moments and also deep heart and soul. This is one "skit" that I greatly enjoyed and would recommend. It is an experience.
