This play is probably fictional, but the jury’s still out — literally. El Jefe is a hilarious (and hilariously messy) two-hander about Canada’s most infamous former Olympian/alleged drug kingpin. Ryan Wedding, please don’t hurt us.

Walked into this not knowing much, but walked away having been pleasantly surprised and having laughed the entire time! A marvelous mix of dark humour, important commentary, and witty writing!

Very funny, a little dark and totally entertaining! The dialogue is witty and the premise for the show is so creative, with the time-travel element featuring younger and older variants of Ryan Wedding. Both actors embodied their respective Ryan personas with zeal with back-and-forth banter that had me captivated from start to finish. Don’t miss this show!
