Embarrassed Naked Female
Absolutely wonderful TedTalk-style lecture exploring the audacity of men on the internet. It made me feel with her. It took the refreshing stance of not just staying quiet and letting things go because doing something “isn’t worth it” or “won’t do any good,” but fighting for yourself.
This well-crafted piece had me riveted. Now I want to view the original show (Sensemaker) that started this journey.
This show provokes deep consideration of one woman's story that is actually much larger than it first appears.
Incredible work, Elsa! It made me angry on her behalf, laugh lots and Elsa is immediately a charismatic and charming presence.
Thanks for sharing your story!
I've never seen anything quite like this! A show that will make you cringe, laugh, and shudder at the justifications and excuses offered by "normal" men online. Elsa's analysis is insightful, her findings are infuriating, and the creativity and craft needed to take a nightmarish situation and transform it into a piece of art like this is genuinely impressive. Must-watch theatre for our internet age.
Informative and somewhat horrifying. The performer is immediately likeable. She paces the production at a perfect speed.
Equal parts hilarious and horrifying, this show is a razor-sharp roller coaster that pulls back the curtain on female existence and perception in internet spaces, and will literally make your jaw drop. Elsa demonstrates expert wry wit and timing to the highest degree, and culminates the show in an unexpected finale that is supremely satisfying and well worth the wait.
Elsa Couvreur is a genius.
