How Sweet It Is
Caroline’s immaculate garden grows prize-winning beauties that can kill. Her husband, Doug, once charming, spirals into suspicion and paranoia, convinced she’s poisoning him. Visitors create more uncertainty: a young apprentice flares up jealousy, his girlfriend is a bitter reminder of youth, and a blunt neighbour reveals inconvenient truths. Love can suffocate. Plants can heal or halt a heart. Will sweetness turn to poison?

See It Again
“How Sweet It Is” is funny, intriguing, and just a little unsettling. The strong acting made for an entertaining and engaging production. Every actor brought something memorable and enjoyable to the story, making it difficult to choose a favourite. The garden setting also added plenty of charm, though there may be more growing than meets the eye. I would definitely recommend this play.
