Intrusive Thoughts
I was completely drawn in by Andrea's story and rode through emotions of sadness, anger, outrage, fear and relief. I still don't understand how she was able to be so many characters. Thank you.
It’s so rare to see a piece of theater that leaves you guessing what’s true and what’s fiction. The writing and acting were so precise and emotional that that I left unsure if the events depicted really happened or not.
It was probably one of the most fringe venues I’ve ever seen and I wouldn’t see another show there but despite the “venue” Intrusive Thoughts outperformed the traffic and patio furniture and delivered a theatrical experience I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.

An excellent show, so well acted and compelling. Don't let the subject matter put you off. This is a clever show and a terrific performance. The whole audience was completely engaged. See this show.
The concept was interesting, but the execution was not fully developed. I wish the actor changed something about her appearance when playing the different characters. Difficult to follow the different characters without a physical change.
Powerful stuff. This is a very dark but also very well done. Unfortunately, the venue itself was a bit tough, it's on the roof of a cafe on 2nd Ave and there's a fair bit of street noise. Even though it's a small venue the actress should probably have been miked given this.
Wow, I felt touched at many moments. This touches on some raw human thoughts and dark desires, the messy ones, but the honest ones. The actress‘s storytelling was believable and revealing; I very much enjoyed the journey
"Intrusive Thoughts" left me pondering my views of myself and my sense of justice in the world. I want to think that my dark thoughts of revenge and punishment for evildoers are objective and universal, yet I was left thinking of how easy it is for people to construct self-justifying rationalizations for acts that are rooted in traumas and past events that they aren't even aware of. Intense performance, and something that left me thinking afterward.
