State of Balance

A 60-year-old actor walks into a garage gym when life feels close to slipping away and time is running short.

State of Balance is a bittersweet, darkly funny reckoning with hopelessness, community, and the possibility that it may not be too late.

See It Again

Steve takes you on a journey that left me feeling amazed that he is still standing. I thought this was very well done and creatively put together. So glad that I saw it and definitely recommend seeing it, best one man show I have seen! Looking forward to his next show. 🙌🏻

See It Again

Steve provides a vulnerable and strong solo performance in a unique setting (a gym). The play is engaging from beginning to end, and deals with struggles many of us have been through. I would highly recommend this play to anyone.

See It Again

A 6-step workout to work out those reflections and ruminations. Exercise routines to exorcise regrets. This one-man show left me feeling like I had seen a dozen different people cross the stage on opening night; Walt Wingfield would be proud to call this gentleman a colleague.

A clever use of venue, audience engagement, lighting, storytelling, and a well-paced narrative that didn't linger too long on any one feeling. I am already looking forward to enjoying another production by this team. God, I hope there is one.
