The Keystone

Next-door neighbours. No fence, just an open field. What grows between them is fragile and real. Months later, a surveyor arrives to draw a line that was never meant to be there. One fights to hold on while the other fights to let go. The land has the final word.

A good concept with an interesting metaphor of using a borderless land between two neighbours being a reflection of their relationship. Michelle Lawee performs brilliantly and compellingly.

But a rambling and nonsensicle monologue by a mystical land surveyor at the show's start kills the momentum before it even gets started. If you're gonna come, come late.
