See It Again

The show is billed as being both dramatic and comical and it delivers. It also is very thought-provoking as we follow the main character on her journey through grief and finding herself. It's always refreshing to see a fringe show. Acting takes precedence over comedy. This is one of those. Kristin Moran delivers the story as if it were autobiographical. As we root for her character, we also get to enjoy some of the more colorful moments as she goes to the journey of self-discovery. The show is already good but I know that it will get better as she performs it more.

See It Again

I've seen Jordan perform once before and I got to say he is an amazing magician. Previous iterations of what he's done have been to have a theme to his show like a parody of Harry Potter. This show the theme was weaving his personal story in amongst the magic tricks. There was a lot of vulnerability on stage and some of the tricks gave a visual metaphor to the words he was voicing. The show is so captivating and I can't wait to see how it evolves.

Emil Is a top notch storyteller with a rich history to mine from. The heart of the show comes from his journalism background. He was a host on All things considered for NPR. He's been close to the news his entire adult life, so the stories have a richness that comes from history melded with his personal life. What made the show special? Emil also does comedy. He was able to use humor to talk about some of the heaviest topics in the news right now.

See It Again

What's not to like about a show that highlights the music I grew up with? Ike and Tym are energetic performers. I felt like they made the most of a very basic Tech setup and it still had big stage feel to it. Great comedy and singing 60 minutes flew by.

Mind Blown

When I think of drag, great lip syncing always comes to mind. Dean flipped the script. They don't lip sync anything, this incredible singer just belts out some amazing classics and engages the audience to participate but never gets drowned out. On top of that, we get to hear Dean's incredible story from childhood to becoming the Australia. Adele drag queen. 60 minutes flew. This show deserved a better venue where it could be staged better, but it didn't need it!

Laughed So Hard I Cried

I love performers who can share their most vulnerable experiences. Amanda does that, but she also has the audience in stitches most of the time. The show is funny, the material is racy and sexy, and Amanda's command of the stage is sensational.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

This show had me laughing from its first moments till its last. It's dynamic, it's interactive - full audience - and it's hilarious. If you want to escape for an hour and just have fun, go see this show!
