This show was way cuter than it had any right to be! The script was hilarious and had a clever message, the music was really catchy, and the whole cast was very strong. But all that aside the two leads had Heartstopper-level chemistry. My queer heart laughed, cried, and cheered from start to finish.
This show was amazing. Very fast paced, super funny and the acting is very strong. Probably one of the best shows I saw this year. I think the run is sold out, but catch it... if you can.
It’s clear there’s a ton of talent on stage, and the actors really gave it their all. From what I could hear, they were doing a great job—especially the two women, who were standouts for me. That said, the space itself made it nearly impossible to hear everything clearly, which was a real shame because you know could tell this would have been a professional quality production in any other setting.
Such a fun show! The acting was great, and the costumes looked amazing. The story kept moving at a good pace, with lots of funny moments sprinkled in. I thought I might have trouble following once they started speaking, but every actor was super clear and projected really well—you could catch every word.
This show was hilarious, although I am not quite sure that it needed to be a musical. None of the songs were particularily memorible nor did they drive the story or characters forward. They just seemed to be there for the sake of being there and I'd say the actor playing Pearl had the strongest voice while the others somewhat struggled to keep up with her. But overall it was funny experience, especially the long armed man. Very fringe.
