The Witch of Edmonton is a wildly ambitious show that unfortunately doesn’t stick the landing. The opening moments are haunting and powerful, but the script quickly devolves into nonsense and cliches. Transitions between scenes were too long and the tree was awkward and poorly implemented.
The cast worked hard to deliver great performances, but ultimately they were let down by a rough script and cumbersome production.
Hey. Hey. Hey. I’ve got an idea. Go see Charlie Lasagna, get free pony. IS NOT SCAM.
Will be quoting this show for the foreseeable future, possibly forever. Many thanks to the long man.
Enrichment Hour is one of the best things I’ve experienced. We saw the final performance on heckle night and the 11pm Saturday crowd did not disappoint. It’s absurd, slapstick, sad, existential, and hilarious. Will be adding Three Cheese Institute to the must see list!
Engaging from the first minute, this show was a standout. It’s giving Fallout meets SNL. I’ll be singing Everyone in Town is Mad at Me for the foreseeable future.
