The performance aside, my issue was the seating arrangement. It appeared that more tickets had been sold than the main seating area could accommodate, and additional chairs were placed outside and directly in the sun.
The venue was outdoors with curtains around the space, and one side had apparently been opened to fit the extra chairs. Unfortunately, this meant that some audience members were effectively given a much worse viewing and seating experience than the main audience.
I understand that festival venues can have unusual setups, but selling tickets for seats with such a compromised view and exposure to the sun without making this clear beforehand was disappointing. I would have expected the venue to respect its actual comfortable seating capacity rather than add extra chairs wherever space was available just to sell more tickets.
