Absurd and serious, usually at the same time.

These two clowns are hilarious, endlessly inventive, and a real joy to see. Physical humour, joy with language, and a warped fun-house mirror held up to the long history of colonial exploitation.

Truly exceptional engagement with the audience.

Beautiful heart-warming story!

Evie and Alfie live the kind of love story we all want, through inevitable ups and downs. Their deep affection shines through. Loved the story and the characters.

Excellent show! Well written and well acted. The true story of Afeni Shakur is complex and important, tying together history of the Black Panthers, Stonewall riot, and unending government harassment and duplicity. At the centre is a charismatic woman who was instrumental in creating some measure of justice.

Cabaret-era Berlin gave us some incredible music, in a brief golden age between the First World War and the rise of Nazi Germany. This show has a taste of the best, sung with talent, passion, and true appreciation. Around and through it we also get a glimpse of what led to the creation and downfall of this unique period in history.

Definitely worth seeing.

This works on so many levels. Morris does an astounding job memorizing a deck of cards, then shows us how it’s done, and wraps it in a beautiful tale about family and friends.

Highly recommended

1 small lie leads to one gripping tale that is full of twists. Dockery is a master at pulling his audience into an absurd story that somehow seems entirely believable at the same time. A very enjoyable hour with a master storyteller.

I love hearing a gifted storyteller in action. Connor weaves a masterful tale without missing a beat. Pride, love, friendship, and a simple plot to invade a kingdom to steal a bull.

Another highly recommended show

Wow! These actors can act! It’s vulgar, passionate, and gripping. The contemporary flourishes in a top-notch script give us an exciting new interpretation of the tragedy of Electra.

The raw emotion burns as Electra plots retribution against her mother for the murder of her father.

Highly recommended.
