PRIMADONNA will have you hooked right from the top of the show. It is chock-full of twists and turns, and the cast of three is completely filled with an absolutely electric energy and an innate ability to bring such dynamic characters to life. You truly won't know exactly what to expect until the very end, as more and more truths are uncovered throughout the duration of the play, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats the entire time. I truly have to commend everyone involved—the lighting and sound design were outstanding, the actors had delectable energy and charisma, and the script was a brilliant mixture of complex, mysterious, humourous, and chilling. Overall... this show is a must-see!

The Theatre Network Summer Academy has created something truly amazing with Hot Garbage! The outstanding performances of every single actor, combined with the incredibly well-created story, characters, and design, truly speaks for the capability of young artists in the theatre community. The entire cast was stellar, filled to the brim with impeccable comedic abilities and an electric energy that filled the theatre, making it impossible to not enjoy the entire wild ride of a show. No word of a lie, I did end up laughing myself to tears! Please go support these young artists if you get the chance... the future is bright for the next generation of Edmonton's theatre creators!

I will never not be astounded by improvised musicals. It takes such a talented group of people to be able to pull it off, and Off Book is absolutely no exception. I am in awe of their ability to connect with each other so well that they can improvise not only scenes and an overarching storyline, but rhyming lyrics and harmonies, along with the talented pianist playing with them and the lighting designer in the booth (whole other skillsets I can't even comprehend!). The entire cast had such amazing chemistry with one another, and their comedic timing, relationships, and line and scene delivery were on point the entire time. At the end of the show I went to (where they performed "Pet Psychic: The Musical", from an audience suggestion), I walked out of the theatre humming the finale song, which was so good I felt crushed that it had been improvised and not something recorded so I could hear it again!! Would definitely recommend going to see it if you are a fan of musical theatre in any sense! I would see every show of it if I was able to, because it will always be something new and exciting.

The hilarious chemistry between the actors playing twins Victor and Victoria, combined not only with their strong comedic timing and physicality, but also with their abilities to balance a sinister storyline underneath it all made this show an unforgettable experience that I would 100% recommend to any fan of the macabre, grotesque... and funny!
