Snatched was a fun little ditty of a performance on the side of a hill. The location was excellent and the actress did a great job. It wasn't as memorable as other shows this year, but it had some really funny moments nonetheless.

See It Again

This is legit one of my favourite Fringe shows I've ever seen. Whimsical chaos is always what I feel like the Fringe is about, and this show had it in droves. Too many cast members? Check. Tons of moving parts? Check. Audience participation that is so intense and frequent that it practically disrupts the show? Check. Pre- and Post-show activities? Check. Live music? Check. Bat Clown? Check.

I went twice to the Carnival, and would have gone a third time if I could have made it fit with my Fringe schedule. Both the people I took had a blast and said it was downright magical.

Mind Blown

This show was incredible. Set design, tricks, story, costumes, talent, all impeccable.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

I'm not much of a hockey fan, but the chemistry and camaraderie between these two was infectious. I laughed more than I thought I would for a subject I'm not super passionate about, and the whole crowd getting rowdy and involved made it even more of a fun time.

Hip Bang always manages to bring audience participation to the next level, and Theatrum is no different. I brought someone who had never seen an HB show before, and they asked me what to expect. "Chaos" was my answer, and it was certainly what we saw. The Mirror was some of the most devious audience participation I've ever seen. The story itself was a delightful commentary on why we were there at all. Overall, loved it and can't wait to see what they come up with next.

Free Kittens is a trauma dump, but it's a trauma dump told by a hilarious and charismatic human who does an incredible job with the material (e.g. life) she's been dealt. I bought merchandise and am happy to have it!

See It Again

Duck Duck Moose was the first show I caught at the Fringe this year and was a lot of fun. It did come off slightly unrehearsed in some ways and overly rehearsed in others. As a show that relies heavily on the audience, a lot of the time was devoted to explaining the game or communicating to/with them, which dragged on a bit. I caught the first performance and I can only imagine they improved significantly each time. The cast was pretty funny and the props were top-notch.

Ten-tickles My Fancy

A funny trip through time with a great capstone skit. There were a few tech difficulties during the show, but overall it was a funny show, and the cast did a good job of playing off any issues that popped up.

Genuinely, an incredible show and performance. There are some repetitive moments that drag a bit, but it's all a part of the story and the audience participation is top-notch. If you're a fan of pantos, you'll love this show.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

Full of stereotypes and cliches, but played off with kindness and hilarity. There were some tech issues during the performance, and it went a bit long, but overall, it was a really fun show. I wish I could have caught it a second time with a different partner. The lyrics were clever and the story was heartfelt.
