I had been looking forward to see this young choreographer bring her vision to life. Toronto has a huge gap for contemporary ballet and I am a sucker for a conceptual performance... Keir Collective blew me away in both regards. The dancers did such an incredible job demonstrating the athleticism, emotion and passion required for this fascinating show. I am blown at the variety of music (techno, piano, distortion, folkloric), variety of dance styles and how dynamic the performance was. The lifts!! The expression!! The PASSION!! This is a show you do not want to miss.
