I had no idea what to expect from this show, which is what we love about the Fringe, of course. What a wonderful surprise! It is actually a hilarious, smart, whimsical, and satirical play with two excellent actresses about - believe it or not - success and the meaning of life. Wow. But done in a wacky and engaging way, with a crazy, funny storyline and minimal yet hilarious props that only enhance the experience. We did not miss a beat, even when we were laughing out loud. Everyone in our group loved it.

Cette pièce de théâtre solo de 30 minutes en français est un petit bijou. L'autrice et interprète Ariane Laget a su créer avec quelques accessoires finement choisis un univers enchanteur pour les sens, l'intellect et les émotions. Tous ceux qui se sont déjà sentis un peu à la dérive et qui se sont cherchés à travers les autres et l'histoire seront touchés par cette pièce. Il n'y a pas une ligne de trop. Ariane est une interprète charismatique et de grand talent qui captive l'attention sans forcer. Un immense plaisir dont j'ai parlé à tous mes amis francophones.

I don't want to give away too much of the plot, but this show is absolutely masterful storytelling and acting, delightfully crazy, and executed by such a pro that we were riveted until the last minute. A friend of ours from out of the country had to leave 10 min early to catch a plane and called my husband from his ride to find out how the story ended! Thank you, David, for creating this story and for taking us on such a unique space ride. We're telling all our friends about your show!

I saw Jimmy Hogg at last year's Montreal Fringe in a different show. When I saw his name in this year's program, I corralled 8 of my friends, and we all showed up at his Mashed premiere. Jimmy is a unique and gifted storyteller. His style, personality, intelligence, vulnerability, and everyday craziness all combine into a masterfully woven hour of deeply human and humorous delight. What a treat! We all loved it. Thank you, Jimmy! And yes, you are sooooo darn cool.
