Even now, I'm still thinking about A Conversation with Myself. When the show ended, my friend and I both walked away feeling incredibly grateful.
What struck me most was how universal the emotions were—doubt, regret, hope, longing, and all the quiet conversations we have with ourselves. Michael wove these experiences together in such an honest and moving way that it reminded me something we often forget: almost everyone is carrying a heavy weight, much of it invisible and deeply painful.
I hope one of the lasting takeaways for audiences is that we're all doing the best we can. If we truly understood that, perhaps we'd all have a little more compassion for one another. And when you remember that it was created from an installation that was made for a sacred, quiet space for people to reflect. Quite amazing! Thank you, Michael, for creating such a thoughtful, powerful, and unforgettable piece. It was an amazing experience.
