Laughed So Hard I Cried

Superb acting and comedic timing. Loved the costumes and outrageous imagery. I will admit that I was expecting a stereotype of a Hag, and was pleased to be presented with something different. There is a fun surprise halfway through that I won't spoil, but it brought on a giggle fit.

I remember this artistic team from when the did MOO a few years ago. They create work with a strong commentary on our social ecosystem and particularly on how we treat animals. This show received the same treatment. It is heartfelt and funny. The performers did a great job. The downsides: the sightlines in the venue are not great past row 2. Get there early to get front or aisle seats. I also think the show is a little long at 90 minutes. But I would still recommend seeing this one!

Mind Blown

This show is an emotional masterpiece!! It deals with the difficult truths, the highs & lows, and the unrelenting waves of feelings when you are caring for someone with an illness. The actors are unbelievably talented and I am thrilled that I got to witness them tell this story. Particularly the main female characters, who left it all on the stage. Bravo. Fringers: do yourself a favor and see this show! There is an abundance of comedy shows at the Fringe this year, so this show is a rare opportunity to experience the vulnerability and raw talent that only dramatic theatre can give you.
