Fringe Reviews

Reviewer Code of Conduct

Welcome to Fringe Reviews - a space where every review helps build a bolder, kinder, and more creative community. Before you hit “submit,” please read and follow these simple guidelines:

  1. Be Respectful
Celebrate what works, critique with care, and leave the personal digs at the stage door.
  2. Be Constructive
Thoughtful reviews are more helpful than harsh ones. Ask yourself: is it fair? Is it useful? Is it kind?
  3. Be Accountable
Your name is on your review. Use your own words, stand by them, and please don't pretend to be someone you're not.
  4. No Hate, No Harm
Reviews containing hate speech, discrimination, harassment, or targeted harm won't make it past moderation. Full stop.
  5. Keep it Real
Only review shows you've actually seen - once per show, per Festival. No spoilers, please!
  6. Keep it Clean
If you wouldn't let your grandma read it, don't write it here. Please keep the swear words out of your reviews.
  7. Trust the Process
All reviews are moderated by real humans. If your review is flagged or doesn't meet our guidelines, we may follow up, delay posting, or remove it.
  8. Celebrate the Fringe Spirit
This is a place to champion artistic risk, cheer on new voices, and uplift the creative chaos that makes Fringe magic. Remember: anyone at Fringe can be an Artist. Some of our Artists are bravely sharing new work with audiences for the very first time. Let's work together to make sure it's not their last.
  9. Subject to Instant Improvement
This website is a pilot project. We're still working the bugs out. Thanks for your patience while we learn and adjust.
