Ten-tickles My Fancy

Just pure entertainment. Silly fun that doesn't take itself too seriously and asks that you don't either. Well performed. Strong singing, good choice of songs (with their own twists). Light-hearted story line with some surprises. If you are a fan of slapstick and camp, definitely go see. The smile didn't leave my face until well after I left. Well done!!

See It Again

This was one of the best shows I saw over the weekend. The entire cast was amazing with the live vocals and choreography. Stand out was Gabii, whom I would’ve loved to be on stage more but stole every scene she was in. Highly recommend seeing this show.

Edmonton Musical Theatre always puts on a great show and the show they are hosting this year is entertaining!! Overall the storyline is good but sometimes hard to follow at times and filled with familiar songs everyone knows. The characters of Flavio Hotto, Puttanesca and Dottora La Stupida are very funny and enjoyable to watch. The costumes are very thoughtful and works well together and the Choreography is nice to watch when performed well.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

"All You Need Is Love-a (Love-Love-a)" by Holly Derbyshire at the Fringe Theatre is an absolute gem. From the moment the curtain rises, you’re swept into a whirlwind of trickery, love, scheming, and .... pie! The show strikes the perfect balance between sharp wit and laugh-out-loud absurdity, keeping the audience grinning from start to finish.

The cast is nothing short of fantastic. Each actor throws themselves fully into their role, bringing so much energy and charm that it’s impossible not to get caught up in the chaos on stage. Their comedic timing is spot on, and they make every moment feel alive and full of joy.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

Wow this show is a hilarious, heart-warming romp! 🤩

From the moment the lights went down, I was hooked. All you need is Love-A i s a vibrant, personality filled, chaotic, and utterly charming Fringe musical that knows exactly what it is and leans into it with gusto. The plot is wonderfully silly, but it's the razor-sharp wit and surprising emotional depth that truly set this show apart.

The cast is a powerhouse of comedic timing and vocal talent. Each performer brings a unique brand of humor to the stage, and their chemistry is undeniable. Gabii was a real standout with her stage presence and charisma oozing out, I was utterly captivated. It’s the kind of show that leaves you with a huge grin and a tear (and maybe some creampie) in your eye..

This is more than just a musical; it’s a much-needed dose of joy and absurdity. Don’t miss it!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Laughed So Hard I Cried

This comedic Renaissance Musical about two lovers fighting for each other after being torn apart by a potential arranged marriage had an ending no one expected. I won't spoil it for those yet to watch, but it was well worth the wait. I have to highlight the exquisite costumes I have yet to see anything like them at a fringe show. I loved the way they incorporated modern songs such as "I put a spell on you" and of course, "All you need is love," while adding their own twist to the songs. I will say the vocals were not disappointing in the slightest, and the choreography was inherently intricate. If you are in need of a RomCom musical this is just the show for you.

Ten-tickles My Fancy

Lots of slap stick comedy moments! Enjoyed the lively performances, lots of animated faces throughout the show. Songs were all very catchy and had an enjoyable story that will make you laugh, cringe and rethinking love by the end of it! You'll enjoy a cream pie or two (and a very large cannelloni)! So go and get in some laughs and listen to some great songs, by some wonderful singers.
