Ape Breton

Five years after Cape Breton has been seized by evil apes, the last free human survivors on the island need to know: what is Big Ape hiding under armed guard in the Forbidden-est Zone? Written by Drue Robyn and produced for Halifax Fringe, this comedic homage to Planet of the Apes bravely goes where no primate has before. Can this rag-tag group of comrades survive their dangerous passage through the badlands? Can ape fascism be toppled? Will smoke culture ever return to (C)Ape Breton? See It Again

An absolutely fantastic time was had by all at this very Fringe production. Any opening night jitters were few and far between for this show. When I wasn't laughing out loud I was smiling ear to ear. I was able to get a ticket to the closing night show, through much ingenuity, and am very much looking forward to it being just as good as the opening night! Well written, well cast, well directed and well enjoyed! Thanks for the laughs Ape Breton!!!

Laughed So Hard I Cried

We had a great time seeing this show! The cast was fantastic and I felt they had very solid characters especially for a show with a short run time. I wish it was longer!
