Fantastic performance! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sarah was absolutely fantastic in Big Tips! She has such a natural presence on stage and brings so much personality, humour, and heart to the performance. The storytelling is clever, relatable, and genuinely funny, and Sarah has a wonderful way of making you feel like you’re right there experiencing it with her. You can tell how much thought and creativity went into the show. So proud of you, Sarah — such a fun and memorable performance! ❤️

It is the writing. A great show starts with great writing. Sarah has at least a dozen turns of phrase that not only advance the story but could also stand alone as a mini story or as an insightful comment into the human condition.

I also enjoyed the performance which was warm, biting , self deprecating and very funny.

Sarah is phenomenal storyteller, taking you for a wild ride of the 90’s grunge scene and everything that went with it. Her smile is infectious (even when sprayed on) and her inner voice properly creepy. And the soundtrack was one for the ages!!

Laughed So Hard I Cried

A funny, witty, crude combination that perfectly sums up the grungy bar lifestyle of 90’s Vancouver. Sarah is able to paint the picture of growth and the endless journey to find ones-self in your 20’s. A must see performance.

Big Tips: The Rise and Fall of a ’90s Barstar is flat-out funny. If you lived through the ’90s, Sarah’s take on bar culture, promiscuity, mental health and the general chaos of the era will have you laughing, and cringing with recognition at the same time. But underneath all that 90s nostalgia is something pretty universal - the awkward, messy, hilarious experience of coming-of-age and figuring out who you are. And the soundtrack is on point. For those of us who were there, it’s a hilarious trip down memory lane and for the younger crowd who’ve romanticized the ’90s, consider this your little taste of what it was actually like. Don’t miss it!

If you've worked in hospitality, have strong feelings about the male gaze, or have ever experienced a 'shameover' you're gonna find laughs here. When she starts packing the molotov cocktail, brace yourself. I nearly pulled a muscle laughing at the punchline here

Sarah’s show was absolutely phenomenal. I went in not knowing quite what to expect and was completely blown away—not only by its entertainment value, but by how deeply it resonated with me personally.

As someone who has faced adversity and struggled to find a path out of life’s darker moments, I felt a real connection to Sarah’s performance. Her journey from darkness toward light came through with honesty, courage and humour. It was wonderful to see her shine—and bask in some well-deserved light for a change.

It’s rare to attend a show that you don’t simply watch, but genuinely experience—one that stays with you afterward and causes you to reflect on your own life. I’m very grateful that I had the opportunity to see it. Congratulations, Sarah, on a truly powerful, moving and thoroughly entertaining performance.
