Very funny, amazing cast. The band is fanatics. Love the host the show is amazing would recommend. It is a wild ride for sure!!

Bimbos Save the World is a smart and cool improv show that realizes that the best resource that you can use to create an entertaining scene is engaging with real life and your community.

The late night talk show vibe is a large spectacle of musical instruments, cozy furniture, and silk pyjamas, but it also manages to be intimate and personal. Quetzala creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere to allow for the guest to feel comfortable talking about their lives, and the scenes and songs that come from it are so delightful (I was singing the closing song out in the lobby, before realizing I shouldn't be singing some of the sexually charged lyrics on Fringe grounds).

Bimbos truly will save the world, and you can be a bimbo too if you open up your heart.

This felt like such a warm, joyous, and empowering hug. The format is unique and the vibes are impeccable. I’d honestly love to see this as a regular show here in Edmonton. Loved it

I wasn’t expecting this kind of format however; I should’ve read the description which is pretty dang, accurate and true to what the show is all about. That being said this is totally a show that you could see again and again because it will always be something new, even the same interviewee can give you a totally different answer the next time they’re on the show or for another topic. I would recommend caution when bringing younger audiences with you as this is improv based on people’s true stories and things can go R rated pretty quickly. Over all all I enjoyed the production and could see how much thought work and soul went into this show. The songs from the band will be stuck in your head for days. The improv ensemble will have you giggling on your recollections as well. I like that this show provided a platform for people to tell they’re genuine lived experiences and then for others to kind of be able to relate by retelling them in a funny way which in turn makes it easier for others to relate, even though they might not normally. The themes touched on were diverse; potentially shocking and I was told the guest I saw was pretty tame, so come with an open mind or don’t come at all.(Not prude friendly). I haven’t been to the fringe in years but so happy I took this one in. Additionally; you will very likely want to see the show which the interviewee is part of, as they give you a bit of a sneak peak through the interview. It is a 90 minute show so be prepared for that but ticket price vs value is fair. Don’t forget: No food or drink allowed in the theaters and no late or re-entry, happy fringing!

My first time seeing an improv show like this. It’s like a podcast interview interpreted by song and actors . I think it’s cool because no to shows will be the same , check it out you’ll have a good time

I actually didnt know what to expect going into this show, but I'm certainly glad I got to experience Bimbos Save the World.

This is a mix of a live interview and improv show but filled with heart. The host Quetzala is engaging, mesmerizing, & a fantastic interviewer.

The improv players were a little inexperienced, but they gave their full effort and were incredibly endearing. You couldnt help but smile and laugh.

My favorite is the interview portion. Quetzala is incredibly earnest, sincere, and vulnerable. The conversation topics ranged from relationships (good and bad), dreams, goals, desires, and sex. The host had plenty of entertaining anecdotes while still providing space for the guest to answer the questions and provide some heartfelt stories.

Quetzala could do a live interview podcast every week/month with the improvised songs, and I would be hooked.

It was really cute. I'm sure it's dependant on the guest to some extend. It could've been tightened up. 90 minutes did feel a little too long. There's a lot of talent in that stage though.

Hosted by Quetzala Carson, this late-night musical playback show combines interviews, comedy, improv, and music to explore the messy, funny, and meaningful parts of making a difference. This night’s guest, Brooke Rose, brought such a warm and genuine energy to the conversation, making it easy to see why the show feels so welcoming.

The chemistry between the Intersectional Improv Ensemble and Band was especially impressive. Despite the group only being together for only two or three months,you would never know it from watching them perform. The cast bounced off each other effortlessly, turning conversations into hilarious scenes and songs on the spot. The audience’s Bimbo Confessions and Breakthroughs also made for an entertaining finale!

What makes Bimbos Save the World stand out is its ability to be completely ridiculous while still creating space for genuine conversations and self-expression. Carson and the creative team have built an environment where people can be messy, honest, and unapologetically themselves.

A huge kudos to the improv ensemble and band for their quick thinking and fantastic chemistry, as well as Carson and the creative team for creating such a safe and entertaining space. Bimbos Save the World is perfect for fans of improv, comedy, music, and anyone looking for a show that celebrates being your authentic self. Come for the bimbos, stay for the chaos!

I loved this show so much! The cast is super talented and so funny I laughed and had the best time! There are also important topics being discussed in a cozy and inclusive space. Truly a must see show ❤️

I was engaged the whole time, the conversations and the resulting improv and improv songs made me laugh so hard I was crying. You could definitely go more than once and get a different experience. Highly recommend!

I will definitely see Bimbo’s Save the World again. It was absolute perfection, balancing music, humour, improv and real life topics in a clever, funny way!

I found it extremely entertaining, and thought provoking. I left the show very happy with a bunch of songs still in my head. I would highly recommend!

I'm not usually an improv guy because I like a story I can sink my teeth into. Bimbos save the world gave me that. Between the interview, scenes, and songs I felt genuinely connected to the guest and invested in their life story.

The cast handled the guest with care without making anything feel too serious. They made a huge theatre feel like a living room where everyone could laugh and recognize ourselves in the scenes.

Didn't expect the night to end with so many songs stuck in my head. Still laugh when "bimbos fuck their friends" comes into my head.

Might watch again this season and risk more songs stuck in my head.

What an amazing show! This interview style improv has everything: improv players, a band with singers, a host asking insightful questions and a local celebrity guest! It had laughs, it had heart, and it really connected with the audience. It’s improv with a new guest each night, so it’s definitely worth seeing multiple times!
