Confessions of a Corporate Clown written and performed by Eric Regimbald and directed by Matthew Gouvia tells the story about one mans experience working as a clown for a big food chain in Canada from the time he was hired to the end of his clown career. This hilarious one man show is one you don't want to miss. Regimbald is a seasoned showman who knows how to keep an audience entertained. His acting choices and prop use were well thought out really adding to the clown vibe of the show. He made use of the audience as well, moving up and down the isles and even asking for some volunteers to help him during one part of the show. He kept the energy high the whole show. The show itself was such an intriguing concept and it was really great to be able to see that that idea translated extremely well for play. The show made me want to dig deeper into the history of the real clown this show was based off of. You don't want to miss this heartfelt comedy! You can catch Confessions of a Corporate Clown at the Edmonton Fringe August 21st-24th, 2025 at the Lumos Dental Stage.
