Ten-tickles My Fancy

Consider the Dongfish is delightful and engaging from its very first moments. Combining the zany retro-geekery of Rocky Horror Picture Show with the defamiliarization of Bugonia and the innocence of "EPICAC," this tightly written and expertly performed show tackles everything from the universality of affection to the strangeness and wonder of humanity itself.

The fact that Annie Konstantinov and Nicholas Guerrerio have packed such an incredible amount of feeling and thought into such a short runtime is nothing short of miraculous. Their movement, vocal work—and even puppetry!—are incredibly expressive, funny and, above all else, humane. Each one of their decisions adds up to a campy but profoundly existential, moving mood.

I strongly recommend Consider the Dongfish to one and all and, if given the chance, I would love to see this show again.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

Bragi Theatre has created an absolutely riveting original piece that is a delight to watch. The writing is incredibly clever and both actors are extremely adept at transforming into multiple characters through incredible physicality and voice work. A unique, heartwarming, and hilarious piece with beautiful sound and lighting. Genuine joy to watch!!

Wonderful show! A lighthearted comedy that got the whole audience laughing. Underneath the well constructed physical and written humour, a sweet message about love, and about allowing yourself to change and grow through love. Incredibly well rehearsed, too!

Hilarious, smart, silly. Each scene was so perfect and funny and unexpected. Beautiful, goofy chemistry between the performers. Still smiling about this show two days later and wondering, “how did they think of that?”

What a breath of fresh air to watch something that marks itself loudly and proudly as pure entertainment. Quick-paced, witty, silly, and at times deliciously ridiculous, Bragi Theatre has crafted a perfect Fringe gem. Tell your friends, tell your enemies -- they'll all be laughing at the end of this rambunctious 35-minute comedy.
