Savannah is such an engaging storyteller, witty comedian, and dynamic performer.
This show was equal parts entertaining, funny, and informative. I feel like I learned a lot about indigenous culture and how fashion permeates every corner of everyday life (whether we want it to or not) and takes form in our individual and collective self-expression.
Savannah’s passion for fashion, culture, and history was communicated clearly, eloquently, and humourously through the run of the show and I found myself hanging on her every word.
Savannah weaved great stories together and drew some big laughs. Super engaging.

Went in on a whim and could not stop laughing! Great comedic timing, stage presence and outfits. Easily top 3 favourite shows this year.
Fashionably late was hilarious and fabulous!! In true diva style, Savannah made us laugh the entire show and the outfits were absolutely fabulous. Must see (I will be going again)!!! ✨

Loved this show! My favourite so far(out of 7). Savannah's so naturally funny & authentic. She clearly seemed to be having fun up on stage, & so were we. I really liked how she wove some of her indigenous background into her stories, including a funny line about going hunting with her dad(I won't spoil it, you'll have to go to find out). I looked her up after, & turns out she's a bit of a comic-about-town already!? I would've easily paid more than double to see this show. Entertaining! If it's on your maybe list, grab a tkt, it's a stylish treat.
Savannah weaves together a beautiful show; the kind of experience you'd hope to have at your besties place before a night out! Her comedy brings you into her world full of Indigenous culture, education, and hilarious personal anecdotes. It felt like I was watching prime time variety show from the 70's (think Cher, Carol Burnette)!! Her stage set up is so inviting, and fun to watch her interact with it. This is a must see show at the Fringe, and I personally hope to see it on TV someday soon. 😉✨️
I thought this was a perfect balance of dry humour, teachings on indigenous fashion, and personal storytelling. The show took 15 minutes to get into the groove, but once it was in I was laughing constantly. Recommend for sure.
Savannah Erasmus opens her closet and her heart in this funny and illuminating exploration of some of her experiences as an Indigenous woman in the world of comedy, and the part fashion has played in her life. Her quick outfit changes are impressive, and her generous sharing of her life heartwarming. I recommend this show.
Savannah Erasmus' show is part education, part storytelling and part stand up. I really enjoyed several aspects of the show. The first part talking about the contrast between being a fashion fan and growing up hunting in Treaty 6 territory rang so true to some many people I knew in the North. It also wove in some really good information about Indigenous fashion and the ways it has influenced things in the wider and settler contexts. On opening night the performer appeared to be struggling with their material somewhat in the first part but when they moved to the stand up part of the show they landed firmly on ground and delivered a very funny set. There was only one aspect of the show that fell flat for me. The performer asked if there were any straight men in the audience and a few brave souls raised their hands. They then said "so none then" and repeated this several times but did not really engage with it as comedy or commentary which just seemed odd to me. However, that is a small quibble, and I would still recommend the show for both some entertainment and some education.

Savannah Erasmus is a terrific comedian and her one-person show, Fashionably Late, is a super fun and sassy show that's also backed by great substance. Audiences get to come along with Savannah as she gets ready for her comic show - trying on some gorgeous outfits and learning more about her, including her Indigenous heritage and how it remains a strong part of her life. I really enjoyed learning about the impact Indigenous culture has played in fashion. What I love most about this show is how uniquely Savannah it is. Savannah Eramus is a wonderfully upbeat, funny, smart, and thoughtful young woman, and Fashionably Late glows with her loveable spirit.
I really enjoyed this show! Savannah Erasmus puts on a hilarious whirlwind performance, changing topics as frequently as clothing, and covers a lot of ground - from fashion history, to her partner's unfortunate shorts choices, to being raised by Snooki - and yes, it was very contemporary. Even as a straight white man wearing khakis, I highly recommend this show!
Really fun concept of storytelling while getting ready for an event which is well done. The performer does a remarkable number of outfit changes while telling us about how fashion history and the inherent politics of fashion has shaped who she is today. I laughed a lot and so did the people next to me!
So funny, loved the mix of culture, fashion and history! I felt very seen as a women who has trouble picking an outfit.
In Fashionably Late, Sav strikes the perfect balance between highly personal, and highly relatable. I laughed awkwardly loud and many discrete intervals, and yet felt free from scrutiny in the comfortable yet moody venue. If you have ever worn clothes, this one is for you.
