First Kiss

It's 1985. A socially awkward teenager yearns for her FIRST KISS before she turns sixteen in the suburbs. But life is not a John Hughes rom-com for an Asian girl like her. This one-woman musical romp is like totally radical and retro, dude.

This musical is a delight from start to finish; a 1980's queer awakening of a 2nd generation Filipino-Cdn teen, complete w/ 80's hit tributes & references, & a 5 piece band (a giant harp!). Spitfire singer-actor Josette Jorge is a revelation.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

A wonderful performance!

Josette Jorge, the band and the entire production team truly transport you back to the 80s. It was a beautiful balance of nostalgia, whimsy and heartfelt moments.

To anyone who grew up feeling other'd and unseen, your inner child will thank you for seeing this show💜

Ten-tickles My Fancy

This show is absolutely delightful, with a twist I wasn't expecting. If you love the 80's (and who doesn't), love the music and pop culture of that era and have wished for a teen story with an Asian lead, this is for you. The onstage band is fantastic and much more than one would expect from the Fringe. I highly recommend this show!
