See It Again

I really appreciated all of the creative aspects of the show, from the live music to the crowd interaction. It was not what I thought it would be and I found myself laughing throughout. 10/10!

Mind Blown

What an emotional rollercoaster Stephen and Isaac take you on! I laughed, I cried, I felt uncomfortable and excited all at the same time.

A really heartwarming story with truth behind all the laughter and lessons to be learned.

Highly recommend this show if you have not seen it yet!!

See It Again

I loved this show so much. As someone who regularly interacts with the unhoused community in Vancouver, the themes and conversations were very accurate. I think everyone should see this to realize how easily we dehumanize people and how it is our responsibility to treat everyone with respect and kindness. Please see this show and tell all your friends to see it!

A quick hit of what we see daily in big cities. Entitlement and poverty. Nobody want to be on the street and dismissed.

Great blend of smooth audience interaction and social commentary. Very relevant performance in Vancouver and sure to touch your heart.

A happy surprise. A play that manages to humanize the homeless and busking both of whom are neither all bad nor all good. Sometimes people make decisions not based on a moral imperative but on oppurtunity. I left the show contemplating my own views views.

Stephon Thakler, the writer and director, was also pleasant to listen to as a musician before and during the performance.

This show will make you think next time you pass by someone asking for a tip, and question the things that make us all different yet very much the same. Definitely worth a watch this year!

Ten-tickles My Fancy

The show was outside which is an added element for the performers to navigate , since some passerbyers don’t realize it’s a Fringe Show and think it’s a real match between a homeless guy and a musician pouring his heart out . It was a fun, interactive show !

Stephen Thakkar is a phenominal musician and the interplay between him and costar Isaac Stuber Li was entertaining and thought provoking. The show is outside so choose your seating wisely depending on comfort level, and don't be afraid to "tip the performer" before and during the show with the provided chocolate toonies! See this show for the amazing music, endearing performances, and the brilliant implementation of a site-specific show.
