Life's A Drag

What a fun enjoyable show! Dean has a fantastic voice and great personality and energy. This a delight of a show. Dean is an exemplary showcase of Australian drag!

While I've never actually seen a drag show before, Dean popped my cherry. His vocals were phenomenal, but I especially appreciated how he shared life stories into his show, which made him relatable and want to root for him at the same time. Everyone was standing and dancing by the end of the show!

When I think of drag, great lip syncing always comes to mind. Dean flipped the script. They don't lip sync anything, this incredible singer just belts out some amazing classics and engages the audience to participate but never gets drowned out. On top of that, we get to hear Dean's incredible story from childhood to becoming the Australia. Adele drag queen. 60 minutes flew. This show deserved a better venue where it could be staged better, but it didn't need it!

We have looks, voice, humor and sass. I was not expecting much from the flash from the past elementary school set up from the 1980's and then bam! she came with stories, heels, moves and I was mesmerized. I was truly connected to her in that moment I was there, the humbled talented performer who threatened to take my man. I left thinking one, is that my body type? damn menopause but two I was taken on a journey and it was fun. Come see the show.
