A dynamic and expressive performer tells the complicated story of an indigenous woman from the 1500's. Was she really the villain history has made her out to be? Or was she a clever survivor who quietly undermined the colonists' conquest?
Needs a bit of polish, but the story and performer really pull you in.

The actor carried the weight of this one-person show very well. At times lighthearted, at times intense, I enjoyed learning about a historical figure that is not reduced to just a simple hero or a villain archetype.
