When May receives a letter in the mail about an inheritance, things for her and her wife, Louise, start to seem less jagged. But when May's estranged alcoholic mother shows up at their door, what should have been a blessing becomes a hot, sweaty, drunken nightmare, and their cramped studio apartment quickly turns into a pressure cooker.
