This is not so much a stand-up performance as It is a an account of his life, travels, political, and cultural points of view, accompanied with punchlines. Well worth your time while waiting for a bus to Winnipeg.

This first-time visitor (I think that’s what he said) from the Netherlands has a big voice and a big stage presence. Clearly a well seasoned stand-up storyteller. And he starts off strong, but when he gets into why he loves to travels, what should have been another short tale took up the second half of the show and I became less and less interested as it continued. I appreciated the punchline, but not the story, a little too “naive save-the-world” for me, even if he apparently learned his lesson.

Funny stuff. Stand up comedy straight-up. No costumes or fancy lighting. Fun personal stories and comedy

Mind Blown

My daughter and I went to see No Die! together, and we absolutely loved it! The storytelling was amazing—every moment gripped me so tightly that I didn’t want it to end. When I wasn’t laughing, I found my mouth hanging open and my jaw dropping at the vivid, wild details of his story.

I gave him a standing ovation—truly well-earned. Very funny, deeply moving, and brilliantly crafted.

Highly recommend No Die! to anyone who loves laughter, adventure, and a story that grabs you from start to finish.

Alternately funny and fascinating, Fedor is a gifted storyteller and I would recommend this show to anyone.

Laughed So Hard I Cried

Fedor’s show at the 2024 Fringe was great so I gave him another try. He did not disappoint. No Die covers his travels to Thailand and Sierra Leone where he went as an NGO volunteer. Humorous and engaging throughout. I would definitely recommend.

Worldly Comedy

With an amalgamation of his various worldly travels, comedian Fedor Ikelaar presents his stand-up show No Die!. From Thailand to Sierra Leone, Ikelaar brings the audience to sites all over the world upon the vessel of hilarity, drawing laughs like no one’s business. The variety in the kind of jokes being told-- crass, political, or otherwise-- was spectacular and always kept me on my toes. Additionally, Ikelaar took time to recognize the often uncomfortable topics of the Netherland’s (his home country) past while still maintaining an undoubtedly fantastic attitude within the room. I highly recommend No Die! to any Fringe-goer or comedy fan looking to hear some insane stories from a seriously talented comedian, or anyone who isn’t a fan of Winnipeg (if you go, you’ll get this joke).
