Patient 0: A love story

Do you know why we keep inventing things? Because of the fear of regret.

Mind Blown

In the best way possible, this show is the black sheep of this year’s Toronto Fringe Festival. Compared to your typical fringe theatre show, Patient 0 is VERY different from most and perhaps that’s why it’s not getting the best reviews. I’ve seen some other shows and they’re lighthearted, fun, some even silly; what you’d typically expect from fringe and local theatre today. THIS does not compare. This is intricately emotion-provoking, intense, and raw. A show that could be appreciated by even those who are not into theatre at all. The monologues gave me goosebumps and despite being confused in the beginning, I absolutely loved the way things started to make sense as the story progressed. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you strip down the pre-conceived thoughts of theatre today and see this, you’ll realize this is a damn good show and a damn good experience to witness. Highly recommend it

Not My Cup of Tea

If you had asked me what this show was about immediately after, I don’t think I could have told you. Definitely not my cup of tea.
