Sexy Fringe Show

Ingrid's done it again.

I've seen both past versions of this show: Ingie's Fingies and Epidermis Circus - both were a joy, and the second was only an improvement on the first. The third in this series was a blast.

This show gives the people more of what they want: Baby Tyler. He plays a starring role in some funny and inventive bits, but of course just like every year there's more creative characters you can root for and laugh at.

If I was to complain about anything in this show, I was a little disappointed that we didn't get as wide variety of finger-puppet cast. Gummy Bear Generals, lumps of clay, I remember rooting for these weird and silly heroes, but there were fewer characters overall this year.

But, the characters we had were a riot.

If you can manage tickets for this one, you should (but, forewarning, this one is definitely less kiddo-friendly than previous years)

Laughed So Hard I Cried

This may be my highlight of Fringe this year. The creativity on display was phenomenal - the set design, the puppetry, the use of a camera and projector to support excellent framing; all while we're treated to a masterful performance from the puppeteer herself. Don't miss out on this if you can manage to fit it into your schedule!

SNAFU does it again! Consistently excellent, year after year. Baby Tyler always delights, but my highlight from this year's iteration of Epidermis was the nuns. Hansen is a one-of-a-kind creative and a technically stellar puppeteer. As impressive as it is funny.

You will not be disappointed.

Always fun to see Ingrid’s creativity at work. I think Ingie’s Fingies was my favourite of this saga, followed by the OG Epidermis Circus, but this one is still fun and wacky. I’m excited to see what other works Ingrid brings in the future, even if it’s not part of the Epidermis Circus series.

See It Again

The SNAFU Sexy Puppet Show was a wildly inventive and hilarious one-person show that had the audience laughing from beginning to end. With nothing more than a hand transformed into a puppet, the performer brought a whole cast of characters to life, each bursting with personality and charm. The talent it took to create such a lively world single-handedly was remarkable, and the audience couldn’t help but be impressed. The show was packed with witty jokes, cheeky puns, and clever comedic timing. The performance hit a perfect balance between silliness and skill. The humor flowed effortlessly, keeping the crowd engaged and laughing through every moment. What made it even more enjoyable was how the performer connected with the audience, giving the show a spontaneous, in-the-moment energy. Even the slightest set changes were handled with wit and comedic flair, put together seamlessly into the performance so the fun never slowed down. Overall, it was a creative, funny, and unforgettable piece of theater that proved just how much one talented performer can do with imagination, humor, and a single hand.
