My husband and I really enjoyed this one woman show. Put a smile on our faces! She is a good artist and singer. We could certainly relate to the show. My only negative comment is that the background music was too loud for her wonderful voice.
A delightful, first‑class hour of theatre. Mandy Williams delivers a brilliantly funny, utterly charming one‑woman musical comedy that has the audience laughing from start to finish. Her comic timing is razor‑sharp, and her singing voice is a genuine surprise: warm, expressive and perfectly suited to the show’s witty songs. The piece offers a fresh, affectionate look at relationships, compromise and what true love really means; it’s relatable, clever and full of heart. Professional, polished, and endlessly entertaining, the hour felt far too short; I left wanting more. Highly recommended.
Mandy is an amazing performer - multi talented in script writing, musical theatre, tap dancing, realistic comedy (without punching up or down), singing and storytelling. And all of that made this show great!! I liked the set pieces as well - the details and depths.
A top pick for both me and my Mom. We laughed, hooted, and enjoyed to the max. Rather than being a "put down" for men, this was a celebration of women, and what they (often) do. The time flew by, I can't wait to put my "You may have to move something" magnet on my refrigerator.
We loved this, Williams is talented and kept us watching and involved the whole time. Totally relatable show. Did not put men down but was realistic about men. Even though a Brit living in the US! It was a show we did enjoy.
"There ain't no thing a woman can't do," and Mandy Williams sure lives up to it. Mandy Williams' 'The Funny Thing About Men' is a fantastic, hilarious, and relatable show.
Williams never had a dull moment on stage. She filled the space with energy, wit, and song, leaving me laughing, smiling, and singing along in my head. Almost every woman nodded along to the relatable situations Williams shared. That's not to say the men in the audience weren't also having a good time.
At the end of the performance, an audience member came up to talk to Williams, and Williams stated something along the lines of, "I don't want to be rude to the men; I simply want to show some recognition for everything women do."
"What a lucky girl I am" to have seen this production during my first Fringe experience. I would highly recommend this show for anyone looking for a good laugh and a relatable story about relationships.
This show is so clever. Mandy is an amazing theatre artist with a magnetic stage presence and a beautiful voice. Her original music is fun, catchy, and witty. The lyrics are very tongue in cheek that had many women in the audience nodding along. The hour flew by and left me energized! Don’t miss this show!
