The Improper Identity

In this based-on-a-true-story comedy, Miho dives into the immigrant experience with wit, fantasy, and zero mercy. From awkward misunderstandings to unspoken biases, she unpacks what it really means to speak English "differently." Equal parts hilarious and thought-provoking, this show fires jokes while celebrating the beauty of every voice.

I've visited Japan as a Canadian of Japanese descent, and I can completely relate to the "not being heard, despite what they see" experience. Thank you to Miho, Mladen and Ken for a show I truly appreciated. (And I would definitely go to see Mladen in any musical!)
