See It Again

When I first walked into Weird Al Karaoke: The Greatest of the Bestest Hits, I had no idea what to expect.

The title and description sounded fun, but I still couldn’t picture what the show would be. That changed almost immediately. The hosts and performers were hilarious, creative, and incredibly engaging. They turned familiar songs into hilarious Weird Al-style parodies, and the audience was completely involved. The crowd control was one of my favourite parts. Everyone was cheering, singing along, and having an amazing time. I have never been to a concert before, but this gave me an idea of what that might feel like. By the end, I was genuinely sad when they announced there were only a few numbers left. I would absolutely see this show again!

Laughed So Hard I Cried

Being a fan of fun parodies, this was a must see - and I attended opening night. The show was jam-packed with all the best songs from the regular season shows. The songs were hilarious, the artists encouraged audience participation, everyone was laughing and clapping along! There was also lyrics appearing behind each act, so you could sing along if so inclined! Such a great show - each show will have a different mix of artists and songs, so it's definitely one to check out more than once!

Weird Al Karaoke knows what it wants to deliver, and it does.

They're not building expansive sets, intricate dances or complex storylines.

They're local artists creating dumb parody songs, and showcasing the best ones. There's something really great about delivering exactly what is promised, without overcomplicating it.

Each show has slightly different performances so your's might not be exactly the same as mine, but mine was a banger.
