Whose Presentation Is This Anyway?
It's a great concept, but I had hoped to see more improv. When you're given a random presentation and you have no idea what to say, the point is to make. it. up.
I was a bit disappointed in that a few folks just said things like "I don't know what that is, I don't know what that means..." and the entire point is to be creative and pretend like you do. Unshakable confidence regardless of what's in front of you is what makes it funny!
I enjoyed a few of the presenters very much though. Kate and Douglas really nailed it - they brought a willing spirit to be silly and lean in.
I'd see this again in another iteration, but don't want to hear the words "I don't know" in the context of this particular show.
I think the concept is amusing but it kinda falls flat in the implementation.
I thought the whole thing was going to be improv comedians messing with each other through power points, setting thing up, doing bits, more about goofing around. The actual show is about people who are primarily science presenters, they all seem nice enough but have the problem not being equal when it comes to comedy, especially improv. Some of the hosts were kinda stressed out and since the slides were 1 per minute (which might be fine for a normal presentation, it can be forever if the presenter has nothing to work with and no bit prepared/ongoing) they just flailed looking at an image not understanding it; hoping the next slide would bring some relief.
A couple of the presenters were very funny.
I think this might be the same premise as a Jackbox game
Always funny and fun!
