Self-deprecating, funny, musical, and tender, Noemi Zeigler lets the audience into the story of her divorce through song, dance, and on-stage therapy.

Hopefully without giving too much away: I found her fixation on fixing herself though relationships with (sometimes very bad) men gut-wrenching. Yet, she somehow manages to pass the Bechdel test in a dialogue with her inner child turning the story into a path towards healing. Deceptively raw despite being wrapped in show tunes, I left feeling inspired. Would recommend!

Mind Blown

Down to earth topics of everyday realities that are happening in back rooms worldwide. Discussing a topic that touches the cornerstones of what drives people into recovery or to seek mental health. Awesome performance by an artist who makes the time to chat and is extremely courteous. My partner and I really enjoyed the performance. Thanks.

You’ve Been Served is a one woman show written and performed by Noemi Zeigler about a woman who gets served divorce papers, inspiring her to re visit her dreams of being a famous singer. When a record producer takes notice to her demos she takes trip to Vegas to meet him, embarking on a chaos filled trip. Filled with laughs, music and the occasional audience participation, Zeigler’s show gives audiences a glimpse at one woman's healing journey as she searches for the love shes always yearned. While entertaining, the plays pacing felt a bit uneven often leaving audiences to retrace how the story got where it was. Nevertheless, Zeigler kept audiences entertained, wondering what would happen next. You’ve Been Served is an at times relatable, engaging piece that is worth seeing with a group of your closest friends. You can catch the show at the Edmonton Fringe from August 17th - 19th, 2025 at The Gateway Theater.
