Rag in a Period Piece
Rag, a young clown, looks forward to having a day all to herself, when she's surprised by her first period. The audience will have to help her through this bloody mess as she discovers the many unanswered questions about women's health. In a Pochinko clown style, this show is a funny, engaging, and profound coming of age story sure to end in a standing ovulation.

Fringe is about creating art out of disparate components. Rag melds clowning with women’s health and takes the audience through a very personal journey. She uses humor to highlight the fact that for many girls their first period is surprising and terrifying all at once. She takes off the face paint to describe how it doesn’t always go by the text book. She reminds us that women need to keep talking about our health issues with each other, because when the medical community dismisses our concerns, we often suffer in silence.
