Apparently I am just not a fan of mixed-up history, no matter how well performed. This show was not for me.

Things I did like: the horse lover, the cow (chewing the cud with resigned alacrity), the spiteful astronaut.

The rest was just okay. I’m talking about the story—such as it was, not really a story so much as a disconnected series of musical sketches—not the performers. The performers were committed and put their all into the show. I just wish the content of the show had appealed to me more.
