Natascia Vervena
One of my favourite performers, having seen him perform now in 4 shows and loved every second of his storytelling capabilities. He just has a way about him. I was so entranced in every line of this story and liked the music/lighting additions. They added to the depth of the storyline. It was a thrill ride from beginning to end!
It was a bit disappointing to know Jon Bennet, one of my all time favourite performers was not actually performing. I loved how he did speak and had a supportive group of artists do mini bits of acts for him/this show though. It was an entertaining, fun night regardless and hope to see Jon in person again soon! He is always such a delight.
What started out as a fun show turned into a confusing, depressing boggle of the mind. It did not connect things well and was a bit of a hodge podge mess. The actors did a good job, but the show just didn't hit for me.
This show was exciting to read about and I was anticipating watching it, but it ran flat for me. It didn't really intertwine the two stories at all and the sining/dancing was quite cheesy. It was over the top dramatization, but not in a good way. :(
I don't know where to begin because everything I have to say about this show is MIND BLOWING! It was so cleverly put together from the story's words to the actor's emotions and behaviours. Each thing connected in a big way, a way that made me cry which is a testament to the amazing performers!
Loved every minute and would see it again...
This show was sultry, exciting, captivating, creepy, and unique. It is one of the strangest burlesque performances you will ever see, in the best way. I loved every minute of it and the dancers are so great, plus the acting and storyline interweaved so wonderfully. A must see for sure! I would go back again and again to see House of Hush, as this is my second time watching them perform at the Fringe.
This was such a fun show for Shakespeare lovers and non-Shakespeare lovers alike. The actors performed spectacularly with such passion. I was having the time of my life in this twisted tale that kept me on the edge of my seat.
