A high-energy comedy show with a splash of storytelling and plenty of jokes drawn from Andrew’s own life. The experience actually starts before you even get into the theatre, with Andrew interacting and joking with people in line. Once inside, there’s another 15–20 minutes of stand-up before the main show begins, so you definitely get your money’s worth of comedy. Andrew has a ton of energy and seems almost incapable of sitting still, which keeps the show moving and engaging. The humour covers a variety of topics and personal stories without one major overarching theme, making it feel like a fairly typical stand-up comedy show with some storytelling woven throughout. One thing I would have loved to see was a stronger commitment to the costume setup. If you’re going to walk out in costume, lean into it! Give us the serious “come to Jesus” moment we’re expecting before taking us in a completely different direction. Overall, a lively and entertaining comedy show with lots of jokes, personality, and energy.
