What a heartfelt and earnest work by two of the kindest, gentlest men I've ever had the pleasure to see! I had very little idea of what I was heading into, and the title had me wondering even more. What I saw was straightforwardly one of the most charming and sincere works I've ever had the immense pleasure to see.

From the strange moments that are somehow unique yet also strangely universal for seemingly all trans folks, to the honest conversations around sex and sexuality, to their simple love of badminton, Jeff and Steve walk us through the highs and lows of their lives together over the last seven years in a way that is quiet and simple and sometimes surprisingly intimate. It's hard to walk away from this show without feeling a certain kinship towards them both, after being invited to walk alongside them as they talk us through the years.

Despite covering a few rather eventful years, Daddy Bear and Man P*ssy never stops being beautifully gentle. Even as the subject gets a bit heavier, Steve and Jeff maintain a warmth about them that never once wavers, and I find that to be both profoundly beautiful and incredibly comforting. There is hope and joy and love at every turn in this show, and I hope you open yourself up to it - in a world so full of noise and anger, it is hard to express how much I cherished the opportunity to spend an hour in a place so quiet and gentle.
