Sexy Fringe Show

The Show by Espresso Burlesque was pleasantly enjoyable! It was a great blend of humor, confidence, sexy and playful! 🎊

They used very Edmonton specific jokes that Edmontonians could truly appreciate! 👌🏾

I had never heard of this group before but they definitely seem like the up-and-comers in the burlesque industry!

You must check these guys out! 😎🙏🏾

Sexy Fringe Show

It was like a... A CAROUSEL OF BOOBS!!! 😆🙌 I've seen many Espresso shows outside of the fringe festival and this one was 💯 my most favourite one! The storyline is brilliant, the performers are captivating and by the end of the show my cheeks hurt from laughing so hard. Well done Espresso! 👏

🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 5⭐️ spicy chili pepper rating from me

I arrived at the theatre expecting to see a good burlesque act and I came away feeling like I'd seen a great show. I had interacted with several of the performers on the Fringe grounds, and what intrigued me was this burlesque troop’s mission to be inclusive about who's on stage: performers with various body shapes/sizes and levels of experience. They also mentioned it was the first time they were doing a full scale theatrical show. I went in with an open mind and they far exceeded my expectations.

I loved the storyline that Amelia de Ville, the director, created. The dance numbers brought immediate energy to the stage and sustained it for 60 minutes, and the story arc allowed the individual performances to be threaded in a cohesive way. And if you’re showing up for some hot burlesque, you’ll get it! Several shows at this year’s Fringe have drawn me in for 45 to 50 minutes but lost me in the last 10. Not this show! Espresso burlesque, you’ve created something special. l highly recommend this show!

Fresh, funny, sexy, and incredibly entertaining from start to finish! What I loved most was how inclusive and varied the whole show felt. So many different performers, genders, sizes, shapes, personalities, and talents! The mix of comedy, sexy burlesque, scripted bits, and dancing was absolutely perfect, it felt celebratory, playful, and welcoming. You can tell how much work Amelia and all of the performers have put into bringing this show together from the costumes and choreography to all of the little details. An most of all everyone is having FUN up there, which is what the Fringe is all about!

Also, the fact that the cast, solos, and even the script revolve with different performers each night?! That adds a whole other level of complexity and makes the show even more impressive!

So entertaining, I highly recommend checking it out!

Congrats Amelia and all the Espresso Babes on your Fringe debut! What a way to kick things off! ✨

See It Again

I legit felt like I was watching a real life Barbie episode.

The cast did a great job bringing the characters to life.

You could feel how much fun they were having on stage, and that energy carried into the audience. .

Without giving away too much, I really liked how the story came together in the end. Cant wait to see more

Sexy Fringe Show

I was at the fringe with some time to kill between shows, saw espresso Burlesque had tickets available, and figured, why not.

I went in expecting the usual burlesque vibe: dainty, sexy, glamorous, dramatic… you know, and fancy feathers. 😂

Instead, I got one of the funniest and most entertaining shows I’ve seen at Fringe.

And when the guys came out… 😂😂😂 I was NOT prepared. That completely caught me off guard, and somehow made the whole thing even funnier.

I went in with absolutely no expectations and it was incredible

10/10 accidental decision. Would absolutely recommend.

I do appreciate the effort and enthusiasm that went into this show, however, it was far from being ready for an audience. The performers had great spirit, and I hope they keep at it and continue to improve.

A witty and energetic show, Espresso Burlesque was an unforgettable performance. The ensemble dazzled with gorgeous costumes and entertaining choreography. Each actor brought so much energy and passion to their characters.

Although the story was not the most intricate, it did not diminish the effect the talented dancers had on the audience… which is, of course, the main attraction. Burlesque is not for everyone, and it is definitely quite an experience for newcomers, but it is certainly an experience worth stepping out of your comfort zone for.

Amelia De Ville brought a strong, sexy, and loveable energy to the stage throughout this heartwarming story about finding your identity, with impressive stage presence and charisma.

The sparkling costumes, fun characters, and supportive atmosphere made it a wonderful show. It was a spicy and amazing display of expression and confidence, encouraging everyone to celebrate their individuality and look beneath the surface.

Amazing show. Came for the espresso. Stayed for the burlesque. Left wondering why I’ve been wasting my money on therapy when apparently all I needed was glitter, boobs, and questionable life choices.

The performers were HOT, hilarious, insanely talented, and somehow made me feel both underdressed and spiritually healed. ❤️
