Laughter is the best medicine!
Aliya Kanani is funny, personable, and there is no such thing as TMI! The minute she hits the stage, the vibes are high and the energy is strong. She is a wonderful storyteller and has a great connection with the audience. She makes every joke feel as if you’re a part of it, rather than part of a crowded theatre. Kanani is hilariously genuine.
An unconventional approach to comedy, Kanani ensures that her platform does not go unused; she has a message to share, and it is a beautiful one. Beyond her comedy, she takes a deep and introspective approach to the rest of her show, guiding audience members through her journey learning about unity, humanity, and connection.
Kanani’s show is both uproarious and reflective. She will leave you with the important reminder that if we cannot laugh, we cannot heal.

Loved by wrestling fans and newcomers alike, this show is extremely well-tailored to suit all audience members. Geoff Hughes took to the stage with magnetic stage presence, excellent comedy, and captivating storytelling. He had the audience hooked from beginning to end, with lots of laughter in between.
Hughes’ ability to embody the larger-than-life personality of the Macho Man while still allowing moments of genuine vulnerability is what makes the performance so engaging. Even if you walked into the theatre knowing nothing about wrestling as I did, his charisma and storytelling make it easy to become invested in the journey.

A witty and energetic show, Espresso Burlesque was an unforgettable performance. The ensemble dazzled with gorgeous costumes and entertaining choreography. Each actor brought so much energy and passion to their characters.
Although the story was not the most intricate, it did not diminish the effect the talented dancers had on the audience… which is, of course, the main attraction. Burlesque is not for everyone, and it is definitely quite an experience for newcomers, but it is certainly an experience worth stepping out of your comfort zone for.
