See It Again

A really fun way to spend an hour, lots of jokes made me laugh. The lighting and atmosphere were spot on! I want to see more shows like this!

This was thoroughly entertaining - lots of laughs, and excellent set and costume design. The two actors played great off each other, as well, the hour flew by.

Not My Cup of Tea

I think there is an extra level of difficulty in pulling off this play as it is based on well known actors. Without any resemblance or emulation of those people by the actors (that I could discern) the play unfortunately fell flat for me. It was fine and I don’t regret seeing it but there is room to improve.

Matt and Ben is a hilarious and charming look at two friends trying to find their place in the world of screenwriting. As Matt Damon and Ben Affleck chase their dreams, an unexpected opportunity throws their plans completely off course, leading to plenty of chaos, ridiculous moments, and some genuinely funny situations. What makes the show especially enjoyable is the chemistry between the two characters. Their friendship is at the heart of everything, and the actors lean into the goofy side of their personalities without taking themselves too seriously. The fourth-wall breaks, quick costume and character changes, unexpected accents, and playful interactions with the audience add an extra layer of fun and make every moment feel unpredictable. It’s the kind of show that feels like watching two best friends get themselves into trouble and somehow making it entertaining for everyone else. Whether you love comedy, theatre that doesn’t take itself too seriously, or just a good friendship at the centre of a story, Matt and Ben is an easy show to have fun with. It’s silly, energetic, and full of moments that will leave you laughing.
