Parenthood: It's a Mutha is a show for anyone who wants to laugh, cry, and reflect on the most meaningful relationships in their lives. Michelle Todd uses material from her own life as a jumping off point to explore what it means to belong and to find your own messy way through parenthood and life in general. Michelle's experience as an actor shines through where the hour will fly by but you'll have lots to think about after the show!

It's funny, touching, honest, and heartwarming—and you may even see a little bit of your own parenting journey in her stories.
This is definitely a show you don't want to miss at The Fringe!
Parenthood: It’s a Mutha is an incredibly charming one woman show about the emotional rollercoaster that is parenthood. The show works light humour into the shock that comes with children unknowingly dropping nuggets of wisdom, feeling big emotions, and growing up startlingly fast.
Michelle Todd, playwright and lead performer, is a grounded and vulnerable storyteller. There was such a strong sense of love for her children throughout both the lighthearted gibes and deep fear and heartbreak. Todd’s openness is the heart of the show. Her grief and joyousness was contagious. The lead performer navigated through difficult matters such as discrimination and police brutality with a gentle hand and the stark love of a mother.
Parenthood: It’s a Mutha is an honest show that is overflowing with care that would be a shame to miss this Fringe.
