The Singing Psychic Game Show
Spookily accurate (if bonkers) audience readings, songs & 70s team games. The Singing Psychic reveals the songs in your heart._Edinburgh & Adelaide Fringe sell-out show from the UK. Best Comedy Show Finalist (MontrealFringe) "A gloriously entertaining night out”(FemaleArts) 'Can work a crowd like no other' (GrumpyGayCritic) ****
This show was fairly messy and needed a stronger plan. It was 90% audience participation, which can be ok if the artist has a really good hold on how to manage the flow of the show and get interesting interactions out of people, but that that was not the case here, perhaps because it’s near the end of a long festival. The show seemed to jump from segment to segment randomly, and a lot of them didn’t seem to be related to singing or psychics. It seemed that this play needed some more rehearsals and a stronger thesis.
Saw this show on the 17th - what a brilliant performer - I was smiling and laughing throughout the performance! Be prepared for a level of audience participation not seen in other shows as she adapts the script to fit the "volunteers" into the performance. That's the mark of a creative performer and will keep this show new and fresh with every viewing.
The Singing Psychic Game Show was an absolute blast. I laughed, sang, and ended up joining in with strangers who felt like friends by the end. The games are clever and make it easy for everyone to get involved.
The Singing Psychic is hilarious, full of energy, and somehow picks the perfect song that fits your heart. Marysia brings the character to life brilliantly—you can see how much heart, humor, and creativity she’s poured into it. She doesn’t just play the Singing Psychic, she is the Singing Psychic, and it makes the whole show unforgettable.
It’s feel-good, silly, and uplifting all at once—I left smiling ear to ear and still humming my “heart song.”
It’s not a bad show, but it was not a wow show either. I went in with very high hope and left disappointed.
We all have a song in our hearts no? A song that represents who we are as a person, The Singing Psychic Game Show was a show that really brings out the unexpected. This show gave lots of laughs, insight into personal lives, and a fun friendly competition that also made everyone sing together.
The Singing Psychic Game Show performed by Marysia Trembecka is a show where readings of people are done, but not just any type of reading, but readings of the music in your soul, along with what the music means. Marysia Trembecka picked multiple people from the audience and gave them this fantastic reading helping them understand parts of their lives and how to resolve a few issues as well.
The actual performance was a fun one, the audience was split into 2 groups and each team was competing for points. There was lots of dancing, singing, jokes, stories, jenga, and most important music! This is a kid friendly show but I will say the adults did have a more fun time. This performance included music from all the major eras and was loved by older audience members especially those who grew up in the 70s.
The actual music part was very fun and upbeat keeping the audience engaged and motivated to keep participating. The lighting was very fitting for certain moments and for certain songs.
Marysia Trembecka is a great performer with fantastic vocals singing multiple songs. I had a great time in this performance, especially seeing how much everyone enjoyed it. I would recommend this show to anyone and would watch it again. Especially since each show is slightly different in its own special way.
